Washington DC Trip

 

This Washington D.C. trip takes place every other year and is open to students in 7th and 8th grade.

Destination: Washington, D.C., Williamsburg, VA, Jamestown, VA, Charlottesville, VA

 

 

On this once-in-a-lifetime adventure, students will explore our nation’s most important historical sites and experience incomparable learning moments. This will be a trip that your child will be talking about for years to come!

Some of the trip highlights our students love are:

  • Standing where Martin Luther King, Jr. delivered his “I Have a Dream” speech at the Lincoln Memorial
  • Discovering the true meaning of sacrifice at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier with students participating in the wreath laying ceremony
  • Walking in the footsteps of our great leaders on Capitol Hill
  • Exploring numerous Smithsonian Museums, like the National Museum of Natural History and the National Air and Space Museum 

Trip cost (through Worldstrides) includes roundtrip airfare, hotel, three meals a day, ground transportation, hotel security, all admissions, theater performance, group photo in front of Capitol Building, tour guide, and t-shirt.
