Fun Run & Festival

Holy Family offers many ways for students to become involved in leadership roles and grow in their faith throughout their years at HFK. Participation in these various groups and activities help to form the whole child, boosting self-confidence, advancing organizational skills, increasing self-expression, and developing loving and supportive relationships.
“Our life spreads light when it is given in service. The secret of joy is living to serve.” – Pope Francis

Holy Family School’s first ever fun run!
We decided to “retire” the Tailgate Party this past fall…and instead had our first HFK Fun Run!
The HFK Fun Run is an opportunity for students and staff to lace up their sneakers and run for HFK. The run takes place on our campus and involves fun obstacles along the way such as hay bales to jump, tires to climb over, and tunnels to crawl through. School spirit is high with each class Fun Run T-shirt a unique color and staff wearing tye-dye T-shirts, a combination of all the class colors.
This past fall we partnered with Pledgestar to set up our online presence for the run and we are very grateful for the overwhelming community support we received. Funds raised during the HFK Fun Run benefit the school’s operating budget, allowing enrichments to programming and materials, facilities, and staff professional development.
We are excited about this new event and look forward to our second annual Fun Run September 18, 2020!
It’s going to be A GREAT DAY AT HFK on September 18th!
Fun Run Family Festival!
We call this Fun Run part deux!
The day following our student Fun Run, HFK hosts a Family Festival on the soccer field and adjoining parking lot with food trucks, games for kids, a giant inflatable slide, and (hold on to your hats…) a beer and wine garden (plus more)! Kirkland Fire joins the fun too with a fire truck for kids to explore.
Our Fun Run Festival is open to everyone, school families, parishioners, family, friends, and neighbors, and takes a village of volunteers… please contact Karen McGlynn or Emily Campbell in our Advancement office if you would like to participate in our upcoming Festival on September 19, 2020
We hope to see you at our second annual Fun Run Festival this fall!
