Fun Run & Festival

Our annual HFK Fun Run and Fun Run Festival take place over two days each fall. The Fun Run is an opportunity for students and staff to lace up their sneakers and run for HFK. The run takes place on our campus and involves fun obstacles along the way such as hay bales to jump, tires to climb over, and tunnels to crawl through. The day following our student Fun Run, HFK hosts a Family Festival on the soccer field and adjoining parking lot with food trucks, games for kids, a giant inflatable slide, a beer and wine garden, plus more! Funds raised during the HFK Fun Run and Fun Run Festival benefit the school’s operating budget, allowing enrichments to programming and materials, facilities, and staff professional development.

HFK School annual grandfriend tea

Grandfriend Tea

Our GrandFriend day is a day filled with joy! The morning begins in the church with Mass where we celebrate our second graders who have just made their First Eucharist the previous weekend. After Mass, students, staff, and grandfriends join together in the social hall for a cup of coffee or tea, a sweet treat, and heartwarming performances from our students. HFK has also set up a special GrandFriend Fund, enabling interested grandfriends to combine together to contribute to the education of all children at Holy Family Parish School.

Catholic Schools Week

Catholic Schools Week is an annual celebration of Catholic education in the United States held at the end of January. At Holy Family this is a special week to celebrate the many gifts of our school community. Monday is a celebration of service to community with our Kid-to-Kid Toy Campaign to benefit Catholic Relief Services; Tuesday we celebrate our families with students presenting gifts to their parents; Wednesday celebrates our school and parish staffs with a parent-hosted coffee cart and delicious lunch; Thursday celebrates our students with free dress and games or our bi-yearly HFK Talent Show; and Friday the staff joins together in a special retreat.

HFK Students, Staff and Parents working together

HFK is more than a rigorous academic education…we are an embracing and inclusive community of staff, students, parents, alumni and supporters.

Creating a Culture of Giving

The many and varied contributions of time, talent and treasure we receive from our parents, staff, parish community, grandparents, local businesses, and others enable HFK to continue to thrive and offer an exceptional education to all students. We invite you to join our team of Guardian Angels!
