Parent Services
Parents' Club

HFK Parents’ Club is open to all current parents of Holy Family and is an extremely cooperative, supportive and informative resource for everyone. Meetings are held once a month on the third Tuesday in either the morning or evening. Meetings include updates on various school topics as well as hosted parent education speakers and topics. Parents’ Club a great place to share ideas, ask questions, meet new faces, give back, and continue to build upon the wonderful HFK community.

Volunteer Program
At HFK, we believe that education is a partnership, and our volunteers play a vital role in creating a vibrant and supportive learning community. With the help of our volunteers’ time, talents, and dedication, we can go above and beyond for our students, enriching their academic and extracurricular experiences. From assisting in classrooms and organizing events to supporting school-wide initiatives, every contribution matters. Join us in fostering a strong community and show our children the power of teamwork.
All families are asked to commit to the following:
- Each two-parent family is required to complete 50 volunteer hours per school year. At least 5 of those hours must be completed in a fundraising role. A minimum of 10 hours (up to 25 hours) must serve the parish. For single-parent households and those families with only an 8th grade student, the total hours requirement is reduced by half.
- Families may opt out of their volunteer requirement by paying $50/hr.
- All volunteers must complete a background check and training programs before volunteering to ensure a safe, nurturing, and faith-filled environment for our students.
Current families can log into the Parent Portal to view all volunteering opportunities and get answers to frequently asked questions.
Uniforms
All K-8 students are required to wear uniforms. In grade 6, our students are ready for a change, so their student uniform shifts to a middle school specific uniform for grades 6-8. Uniforms may be purchased at Lands’ End.
We also offer special Used Uniform Sales a few times throughout the school year. This is a great time to get uniform pieces for a nominal fee. Gently used uniform pieces may be donated through the school office.
Full dress uniform is required at all-school Masses, field trips and other special days must include logo outwear.
The last Thursday of each month students are allowed free dress. They may also have free dress on their birthdays and other select days throughout the year, such as spirit days. There are also opportunities during the school year for parents to earn free dress passes for their child.
