1. Helen Keller was a person no one wanted to know or handle before Annie Sullivan showed up and  made her a better human.

2. She wrote a book called The Story of My Life, even when she was deaf and blind.

3. Helen Keller was the first famous American to learn to talk as a deaf and blind person.

4. Helen Keller considered Annie as a mother and if she had to choose between her mother and Annie she would choose Annie. 

5. Annie and Helen both had big tragedies in life.

6. Helen always wanted to get married. There was a time when a man named Peter Fagan once loved her.
