Kindergarten Students Honor Their Mothers with a Very Special Celebration

Happy Valentine's Day

~~~
My name is Denise Farthing and I teach kindergarten at Holy Family. I went to school in the Bellevue district and attended University of Washington. Go Huskies! I have a degree in Psychology, Speech Communications and Education.
I am married to a UW Grad and have 2 children, who attend Holy Family. Our family loves to ski, travel, and spend time with our large extended family. This is my sixth year teaching kindergarten.
Kindergarten rocks!
I am Megan D’Ambrosio and I have the joy of teaching kindergarten on Fridays. I grew up in Kirkland and celebrated my baptism and first communion at Holy Family! At a very early age, I knew I wanted to be a teacher. I pursued a degree in English and an elementary education teaching certificate at Gonzaga University. In 2001, I found my way back to Holy Family and have been teaching here ever since. My husband and I love spending time with our son, Nick. I love reading, spending time with my family, and teaching!
Mrs. Farthing teaches Monday through Thursday and Mrs. D’Ambrosio teaches on Fridays. Mrs. Farthing teaches reading, writing, math, and handwriting Monday through Thursday, and on Fridays students integrate and apply those skills into the science and social studies curriculum. Religion is taught each day.
