School Commission
The overall purpose of the Catholic School Commission is to advise the pastor and principal in the formation of policy and the ongoing development of the school. The commission will fulfill these functions in collaboration with the pastor and principal.
School Commission members advise the principal for the good of the school community. Today's Catholic school principal, with the many demands which are made, needs assistance from a group of people who are committed to the Catholic school and willing to work for the good of the school and the parish.
Holy Family School Commission members are selected by the principal and reflect a variety of personal and professional attributes. The Commission responsibilities include the following areas: Planning, Policy Development, Finance, Development and Evaluation.
Guiding principles under which Holy Family is currently being operated. It is our goal to:
- Recruit and retain an excellent school faculty and staff by offering competitive salaries, benefits and a stimulating work environment,
- Invest in the necessary educational tools and programs that will provide our children the best possible education at HFK,
- Keep tuition at an accessible level - we do not want tuition to become a barrier for those who seek Catholic education.
